This is breakfast for those who want something in a jiffy.
Ingredients:
- 4 to 5 slices of white bread
- Oil 1 tablespoon
- Onion 1 medium size quartered and sliced
- Mustard Seeds 1 Teaspoon
- Curry Leaves 1 sprig
- Turmeric Powder 1/4 teaspoon
- Dry red chill – 1
- Salt to taste



Steps:
- Heat oil and add Mustard seeds, curry leaves and dry red chilli and after a minute add the onions and saute till onion is light brown.
- Add salt, turmeric powder and saute for a minute
- Roughly make small pieces of the bread and add to the pan, sprinkle some water and mix well.
- Cook till the bread is slightly roasted. Check and adjust for salt. Just a pinch maybe needed.
